Sunday @ McMurdo

Sunday is a quiet day here at McMurdo, just about everyone here works 10 hour days 6 days a week, so Sunday is chill day, especially after last night’s halloween celebrations. Here are a few photographs from today. I’m starting to photograph the interior of some of the more interesting buildings, the ones with character and a lot of history. There is a plan in the works to replace just about every building at McMurdo,  so many of these spaces could be gone within 10 years. There is a lot of personality to these places, layers of work that has accumulated over the years.
