A few end of day shots from around Seydisfjordur in the Eastfjords, Iceland.

Happy Go Lucky
This American Oystercatcher yacked at me and flew circles around me until I left the area. Nest nearby.
Concrete and stone were the building material of choice in Seydisfjordur, the ones that lasted anyway. Wood is very scared in these parts, scavenged from driftwood, and houses were stripped of their wood as soon as they were abandoned. In Seydisfjordur there are many old concrete shells of fisherman’s houses dotting the landscape.
Except this one which had some wood left, and a roof.
